......Meanwhile Caruso also has been playing the big star in his love life - and that could be a problem for his girlfriend of four years Paris Papiro whom he was reportedly set to marry.
Former masseuse Papiro - who gave up her career to become David's assistant remained in their LA home while Caruso headed east last May to film "Kiss of Death".

And while in Big Apple he juggled evenings out with young beauties. He was escorted to the NY premiere of "The Shadow" on June 26, by Annemarie LYNCH - and STAR caught him and a MISTERY BLONDE a few days later during the Fourth of July weekend in wealthy Amagansett on Long Island ,N.Y, where they enjoyed a romantic stroll in the sand.
"The beach was nearly deserted as David and his galpal slowly walked, enjoying the sunset." says an observer. "They spoke and the mebraced. As the girl held him tight,David cupped her face and they kissed deep and passionately, before heading back down the beach hand-in-hand.

Caruso ALSO has spent time with Caryn Krooth a film production assistant. He has squired the tall, fair-haired beauty around Manhatten for a month.

Publicist Rosenfeld said of Carusos' relationship with Paris: "It was serious - how serious it is today I don't know. But I believe they are still dating. However, they never were engaged."

And Caryn Krooth told STAR: "I prefer not to discuss my private life." A friend of Krooth reveals: "David has a lot of girlfriends. He loves women."
